NC is one of my favorites; I've been an ongoing donor for years.

My take is that republicans can usually be prodded to do "good," but it's tougher with Dems because they think they ARE the "good" ! But really it usually comes to individuals; there are great proponents in both parties and lugheads too in both parties.
