Re: Forget the Polls. Gore will proceed with the polls. He believes he has won so he will not give up. This concession talk is just wishful thinking by Republicans.

Tell you what.... I think the best service President-reprieve Clinton can do his hapless p-Al is to fund a brand new casino in Las Vegas with the $5.3 million that should go to Bush's transition team. Here's the idea: the casino will be an exact replica of the White House --apart from the Prez'desk in the Oval Office which will be replaced with a roulette table.... Yet, to get Al Gore psyched up for his personal transition towards a new career, the Veep Office will be left untouched...err... well, actually a coupla slot machines may be installed --a brand new model, btw: three "Bush smileys" and you hit the jackpot!

Moreover, as an opening special, the first dealer to handle the blackjack game will be guest star Monica Lewinsky!!! And guess what you get if you break the bank??? DON'T DELAY!!!!

But he knows he has lost. All this business about him thinking he got more votes is just that. Wishful thinking.

Funny how Gore and team talked about the polls LOTS before the election...and so did people who supported him. Now he doesn't believe in them???? Thinks they are wrong???? My, what a difference a few days, and days, and days make....
