Just remember this - Investors HAVE TO SELL, they never HAVE TO BUY - Thus SLIGHT downward pressure resulting in the gradual declines that you see. This is one reason you see heavily shorted stocks like RMBS apparently tanking is because the only pressure in situations where there is no buying is DOWNWARD pressure by the shorts and especially on low volume..
