They say this is the real reason that the canvassing board decided to stop where they did and not count the original Gore gain. That would make sense, but why is Gore suing now to start the count again? BTW, there were 175,000 under votes statewide in FL and over 2,000,000 nationwide! Thanks for that number. It was the one I had been using until someone corrected me saying that it wasn't 2% it was .5%. I remember reading the 2% myself and now you back it up. Using a 2% undervote for Miami-Dade, you would expect 12,000 true undervotes, about what they had. Maybe there isn't a "goldmine" of Gore votes there. But why would there be 20,000 undervotes in Duval? That's over 7.5%!

Cisco--2 mm votes nationwide undervote huh? That is 2% of the total vote. That is noise my man. Tell me, how many states outside of FL had Gore with less than 51% of the counted vote. Now, let's concede most all of those extra 2% undervotes to Bush. In those states where Gore got 51%, he would only have needed to receive ONE vote out of the 2% undervote to win the state. In those states where Gore got 50.5% of the vote, Bush would need 3/4 of the undervote to catch Gore. If those other states were really at issue, they would have been pursued...by either candidate. This has always been about FL, and it will always be about FL. TG
