Whether one is a religious believer or not, it is quite possible for that person to be anti-Semitic (or anti-Catholic, anti-Islamic, anti-Hindu, etc.)

Now may be a good time for you to keep in mind Denis Healy's First Law of Holes: When you find yourself in one, stop digging.

One does not need to be religious to be anti-Semetic, John, any more than you need to be religious to be racist. Jews are just as much a culture and enthnicity as a religion.

I myself am agnostic, as I said, but I still consider myself to be jewish.

Out of curiousity,... where are you from and what is your background?

Firstly, to be honest, being part jewish (by blood, agnostic by belief), I am troubled by what you refer to as the jewish stereotype, regardless of whether or not you believe it. Either way, it is evident to me how little contact you have had with jewish people
