Rick - I've had NTAP almost as long as QCOM back in '97. The stratospheric pe's of the past have been trimmed almost to a forward looking 100 (ridiculous?). The forward guidance was that it wouldn't be able to repeat the yoy 124% increase of the previous quarter. Does EMC have a killer this time? Sun? I don't know, but I learned in my much younger days to play the cola wars by buying KO and PEP. Same rule for storage - I own them all - for several years. When video starts moving around the net, the necessary storage cannot even be envisioned today, and what about data increases. All the players will have pieces - I just hope a lot whips around on CDMA devices and that INKT and ISLD survive too. Point - could be that NTAP is actually "cheap" now. I certainly was decimated in 2000, but when the slowdown is perceived and the Fed turns the corner, historically the market reacts positively to companies with perceived high growth. I think we're loading up now for late Spring - but, of course, I don't have any money left to put where my mouth is. Best, John
