It did make me wonder how prevalent this sort of bigotry is within the mainstream - as opposed to just the kooks. I think it's been interesting how this election has brought them out of the woodwork on SI. I had read Zurdo's posts for a while on the NAVR thread, and there was no hint of his racism. Then, the election stirs everyone up, and it's as though these nuts feel that they now have license to spew racist rhetoric (which they couch in not being "politically correct"). In checking in on the Moderated Porch this morning, I was relieved to see that Volt finally responded and dressed the guy down, and has "moderated" him off of the thread. It was about time...
