I've got the first point to add to the new thread if it ever gets off the ground. Atial already touched on it:

1) Move all sporting events to a strictly early afternoon schedule

Perhaps this explains why I like football so much - never watch the game, but I do like it (ggg). Too bad about Monday night though.
