Then there is the problem of shavings...

The Pinnochio effect. This was addressed by A. J. Garson (1994), at the Blue Fairy Institute. If memory serves me, the conclusions were inconclusive, but there were definite indications that the shavings could be used to make particle board people, people who would subsequently have the choice to become REAL--provided only that these wooden folk had a sincere willingness to admit their faults, and to commit to doing good. If I am not mistaken, Garson himself was a wooden man, before developing an open heart, and a willingness to seek, and to accept, the truth.

Many Presidents and wannabees (if not all) were made out of these shavings, but it is doubtful if any of them will visit the Blue Fairy Institute to become REAL.
