Today, verifiable consent is a shaky proposition, but ultimately, as technologies for digital signatures, voice authentication, biometrics, and others mature, it will be much easier to know whether or not it's really "a parent" you're talking to in cyberspace.

Can someone comment about the two negatives mentioned below?

Although we are intrigued by Identix's technology, we would not be buyers of the stock at this point because of the company's precarious cash position. Identix burned through $8.1 million on an operating basis in its most recent quarter, yet had only $13.1 million in unrestricted cash left as of September 30.

Investors would be better served adding this issue to their watch lists in order to track the burgeoning biometrics industry, which still has a way to go before reaching critical mass.
