Good read indeed: yes, infaltionary devaluation of our debt is logical but entails one more round of disproportionate pain for foreigners: and who is to say that one of thses days they won't cut off their noses to spite their faces?

By the way, a Bush win should tank bonds anyway...

yes, he makes sense. especially regarding the US status as the biggest debtor the world has ever seen, who must be protected from default at all costs for the good of the entire pyramid. unfortunately, this pyramid will go the way of all other pyramids before it...as he says, IF the CB's succeed...if they do, they will serve up an even bigger, even more unstable bubble. better to get over with the inevitable and abolish them all.
