I want to be fair here....when I first heard the term Compassionate Conservatism, it seemed like a feel good empty phrase. A little like a catchy tune. Though not wishing to make an unfair conclusion without knowing the facts. I went in search for the facts. What better place to go than the George W. Bush web site? None of this liberal stuff...go right to the source. I read through the site capturing every little nugget that was to be offered...I won't dwell on all the detail here; just sum it up...."We are very, very sorry that your boat didn't rise with the tide that ours did. Now go away!" jttmab
