I am following a guy (Paul Berliner) who was very accurate in picking the blow-up candidates. Here is what he has to say on CPN:
3. CPN - Calpine Corporation. In a rare stroke of luck, the Managers caught a sharp slide in CPN in early Spring as the esteemed CFRA profiled them as a highly aggressive book-cooker, right after we alertly opened a position in this high-flying institutional fave when the stock began to experience significant, unexplained weakness. Although CPN has since recovered and soared higher, we still think a truly ugly blow-up is in the cards. Contrary to what the Street wants you to think, CPN is nothing special - just another over-owned rollup in a hot sector.

Here are his other picks:
lbcapital.ckt1.com
