Correct SurfBaron, that is why statisticians say that calling Florida by the networks for Gore before the central time zone polls closed in Florida (2 hours ahead in some cases) cost Bush at least a net gain of 20,000 votes, perhaps up to 50,000. Affidavits have been gathered of those who both did and witnessed 1000's leaving the polls before voting after the word was out on the radio, this doesn't even factor the folks who never left home.
