It might not be a bad idea for the legislature to step in before any of the courts act. Not that I think the courts' actions will reverse the election for Gore. But we now have a major party, owned by the ambulance chasers, who seem to have come to the conclusion that they can shred the constitution and sue their way to the presidency. While I realize that's partly our fault for letting that same party shred the constitution to keep their last president in office after he committed several felonies, there must be an end to this or our Josef Stalin will be David Boies. The Florida legislature and Jeb Bush can perform this service to the public and to history, and they should do so promptly.
