Skeeter,

I saw part of an interview with Caddel on MSNBC. I was sort of so shocked at what he was saying that I thought maybe he had an axe to grind.

It's getting tough for me to feel confident about anything reported by the US media.

I am 100% convinced that during the building of the US bubble and the "almost bust" of 98 in Asia etc... that the US media was purposely not reporting the conditions, bailouts, and risks accurately. When I would read the European and Asian papers it was like a totally different world than what was being reported in the US.

Similarly, the newspapers are so biased in politcial matters, they are totally useless to someone trying to know what is really going on. Same goes for some of the televsion programming.

There's plenty of bias on both sides naturally, but even with that, it makes it very difficult to know what to believe.

When someone from your own party comes forward and starts making accusations about integrity, I think you have to take that more seriously.
