tippet, I think you are right about the bottom, I am not sure you are right about LU with calls, it may take LU few quarters to straighten up. It might be a good LT situation if you are willing to wait, IMHO, but calls are just time that dissipates. If you insist on call playing, I would go with stocks that have not broken down, like QCOM here or if we get a panic tomorrow, just under $80. We may also want to consider RMBS if it gets under $40, it is broken technically, but should have strong support in the mid $30' and next week there is an important trial in Germany, which I think will be resolved in RMBS' favor, thus setting it up for a violent year end rally, my guess, to the mid $70' or so.

Good luck, and don't shoot until you see the white in the MM's eyes (g). A -1350 or worse reading on the NAZ' tick might be a good short term signal.
