VA Linux Systems Appoints Vice President of Strategic Sales Gary Green Joins VA Linux from Synopsys to Lead Worldwide Growth of Strategic Accounts FREMONT, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 28, 2000--VA Linux Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq:LNUX - news) today announced that it has named Gary Green as vice president of strategic sales. Mr. Green will be responsible for the growth of VA Linux Systems' major enterprise accounts, including VA's Global 2000 customers, on a worldwide basis. Gary Green will report directly to Robert Russo, VA Linux Systems' senior vice president and general manager of worldwide sales, marketing and services. Gary Green joins VA Linux Systems from Synopsys, Inc. where he served most recently as vice president of global strategic sales.
