As painful as it is, I agree with you. This correction will be healthy for the market in the long run. But it kinda hurts in much the same way a shot in the ass hurts to get rid of an illness. Unless of course, you were talking your Vitamin S (short), in which case, you didn't have to take it in the shorts.

I sat with a tech guy on the plane to LV. His companies buy lots of this stuff. He claimed that JNPR, FDRY, etc are going to take CSCO's mkt share, and already are, in a big way. JNPR deals in the high-end/high-margin equip which he claimed is where the money is going forward. He also said that their relationship with CSCO is somewhat strained at this point and he indicated the they weren't alone in this. CSCO has been able to tread on their "Our way or no way" status for some time and that is now rapidly coming to an end. Anyway he really liked JNPR but he wasn't talking valuation, etc..just the company and the way they do biz at this point Jorj or OG can probably elaborate for us on these points Just another view from 8 miles high as for the correction..why didn't I see this in May? That is where I can improve on my trading going forward. I expect some bounce tomorrow after what could be an ugly open..or not<g>
