CB...Tribe was just on tv and said the Republicans were misinterpreting the role of the Florida Legislature with regard to the electors...he seemed to say Legislature could set laws for how the electors could be chosen...but that they could not elect or chose them themselves...that would be a big disappointment if this is the case.

After watching it, I am 100% certain that the Constitution gives the Florida legislature the sole power to determine how Florida's Electors will be determined, and that they will do so certainly before December 18, and possibly sooner than that.

I hope they act soon.

Hi CB,

it's the train carrying George W. Bush to Washington.

You're so reactionary that you've forgotten that we invented the airplane in the 20th Century. <gg>

I watched a portion of the Florida legislature thing earlier today. Speaking of railroad jobs, this is the lollapalluzza of the class.

Chutzpah personified,
voter rights denied.
Not seein' any 'publicans 'ceptin' them that lied.
Why do I feel democracy is gettin' fried?

Maybe I'll have to revive the Smedley Butler discussion for your benefit. Or maybe a Carmen Miranda clip on slimy lifeforms of a banana republic. -g-

Best, Ray :)
