The only thing I disagree with in your comments is the "deceleration." I just don't see much evidence of that. Yes, i see a return to the norm rate of growth from last quarter's pop in sequential growth at pmcs, but I don't see any evidence of a deceleration.

In many of the strategic vendors that you and I both look at, I continue to see superior or even strengthening fundamentals.

In communications semis, I think that the mindless analysts that don't understand the fundamentals of the merchant cycle are driving the majority of the investment community to expect a lowering of guidance and a strong possibility estimate misses for pmcs.

When I look around and see pe to growth ratios well below 1, I start to get happy with the investing opportunities out there. I continue to beleive that it's impossible to time the market and like you i keep nibbling on the way down. (To the thread - No, I'm not necessarily talking about pmcs.)
