once the election down south gets resolved i don't think it will be the catalyst for any sustainable market rally. It's all up to Mr.Greenie how soon or if he will lower you know what.

Actually I disagree (and not because Nicholas decided to agree). The Presidential "could" be the catalyst, I would never say it won't be..we'll see

So far any sign of a rally has been directly linked to the Presidential issue, in fact so much so, that when Gore or Bush is speaking the market swings either way.

I realize that there are still many stocks "overvalued" but the ones that contribute the most to the Nas imparticular have already received a severe beating. One could debate endlessly as to "what things are worth" but anyone believing the Nas Teckie flyers are going to fall to multiples of an oil company, will have to wait a long time.

I believe a cleanup of the Presidential issue would propel us to 3000 any attempt to "fly" above that will be met with significant selling until the end of this year...tax loss season will prevail.

we shall see...but I would hope that 2700 holds if not I am betting 2610 will at this point, I will rebuy at 2610ish as if it is another bottom, take profits if we climb and bail on stop if we fall...such is the life of a daytrader....but evenb if the rally is not sustainable...who cares, just bailout everynight and look at the next day as a new day...short or long..who cares?
