The next time I fly I'll be sure not to use a phone that isn't in the airport, mounted on a wall, and with the handset connected to the base

Make sure it has a handle on the side to ring the operator.

--cmb,

<< What a novel idea -- a phone that consistently works >>

Verizon CDMA digital wireless mobile phones (QUALCOMM CDMA Inside) CONSISTENTLY work ... one heck of a lot more CONSISTENTLY than pay phones in the lobby of airports.

Did you notice what QCOM did today? Did you notice what Mr. Nasdaq did today?

Help turn this market around.

Bush may get elected (have his election ratified) and the man can't spell wireless and don't know what spectrum is (and I'm not sure Dad does either although Dad can spell wireless).

Gore may not have invented PCS, but without him we would be analog "cellular" in 800 MHz, and QUALCOMM would be a Monkey.

You may wish to consult my respected mate mQ on this subject if you have not had time to listen to his most recent rants.
