RE: Count the ballots, and the games stop This is so silly. THE BALLOTS HAVE BEEN COUNTED. Get it. What has not been done is to count the ballots in a way that awards Al Gore the votes from ballots in which the winner can not be determined. In the only counts that are fair and impartial 1) Machine, or 2) hand counts where only ballots that have a clear selection are allowed, George Bush has won (albeit by a razor margin). In every county of the country, there are thousands of ballots that can not be counted because the voter made no selection, or the voter made more than one selection. THis is just the way it is. It is impossible to count "every vote". Do you not see it as disingenuous that Al Gore targets only those heavily Democratic counties for manual recounts. His offer to count all counties is equally disingenuous because he will not accept reasonable standards for the counting of a ballot. I live in California, and a local Democrat wrote the play book for stealing close elections. You simple insist on multiple hand counts until you get the results that you want. Al Gore will never consider the count in Florida fair unless he is declared the winner. Daly said that straight up.
