no surprise...5% daily declines have become sort of commonplace. besides, we all know it will all presently come back, right? -bg-

I have to respectfully disagree. Many, many notable posters seem to be warning acute caution. Message 14897615 Message 14899008 (Read preceding post) Message 14895381 Message 14899031 I've seen many more today and over the preceding days. The despair is out there and it's palpable. People seem to recognize that this decline will not be halted by the resolution of the prez election. With that realization in mind...and certain end of year tax-loss selling around the corner and finally April 15th just after that...I think people are frozen. Heinz mentioned earlier that those who don't absolutely have to sell now, won't. I think many will be forced out but the likes that have populated SI for the past few years will be scared out or just plain broke. -Darin
