If we have learned nothing else from this debate, it is that a large segment of our population will never grant Bush legitimacy

They will, and they have. You just don't want to accept
this. Every vote cast on Nov 7 is worthless at this point
in time. People cast their vote before Gore went off the
deep end and acted like a mad man. You and others base your
conclusions on the votes counted, but that data is no longer
valid. In their hearts and minds a re-vote has taken
place. This time it isn't a close race. The majority, republicans and democrats have selected Bush. People who
see Gore without party bias, are disgusted and want Bush.
Bush is the president. Everything else is just formality.
