Dr. Voodoo, you missed my point. It's the poorer precincts which have the faulty voting machines that can produce up to a five percent error rate.

And I presume you'll agree that poor folk are more apt to vote Democratic than Republican.

Consider the point made by someone earlier on this thread that there were tens of thousands of undervotes all throughout the nation. Based on the differences we've seen in the four heavily populace and Democratic Floridian counties, Gore perhaps could have gotten even more votes nationally.

And this is precisely why Bush doesn't want those votes counted. Many, many of those votes in those counties come from poor folk who, more than not, vote Democrat. Isn't that what this is all about?

So much was made about giving homeless folk cigarettes in Wisconsin in order to gain their trust to talk about politics and even the possibility of them voting. It's a notable difference that Bush and his GOPwingers wouldn't even come close to communicating with homeless people in that they'd rather feed bacon-coated scallops, shrimp and butterfly ballot dip to the wealthier sorts who get to vote on clean and efficient voting systems and have their votes counted.
