Papaya King, I don't think this is a matter of believing or disbelieving www.campaignwatch.org -- it's a matter of believing the references cited below:

campaignwatch.org

I wondered why Bush, when interviewed on election night and informed Florida had been tallied for Gore, seemed nonchalant and rather relaxed.

Conjecture, but worth asking: Was it because Bush's private election eve communications with brother Jeb--who had an inside, next-door office link to secretary of state/Ambassador-elect Harris--enabled Bush, regardless of what networks were projecting, to be so cool privately knowing he had tens of thousands of Floridian GOP absentee ballots in his vote bag?

Yes, given what apparently happened in Seminole County, it's worth asking: Was the Florida election fixed?

Perhaps it was, and the extremely strong minority voter turnout in Florida might have tipped the intended results into the current controversy.

One thing I'm glad of, however. No longer will we have to see Ambassador-elect Harris certify Bush either as the vote leader or the winner, much like a Mr. America contest. I dare say I think she's watched too many Oscar, Grammy and Mister and Miss America contests and she enunciated similarly.
