surprised I don't hear anybody expressing admiration for Gore putting up a good fight

1. it is costing us all money
2. not so sure that is true. What is the truth? Missouri kept open the polls in St Louis for how many extra hours? that led to how many additional votes for Gore? (heavily Democratic). Have all the military votes been counted? does the supposed leader and commander in chief care about that? if we recount by hand the 4 democratic counties, should we then recount by hand all counties? when does it end? is it even just to do so? is it right to handle the ballots over and over again? did you hear a democrat someone or other was found with a ballot machine in his trunk?

bottom-line is this whole election is starting to get like the OJ trial, it no longer is in search of the truth but concerned with how to get you candidate in the White House.

Enough already, gore should go gracefully instead of whining about counting all the ballots, again and again.

The financial state of this country has everything to do with the current election dispute. From what I recall, Nixon conceded and stepped out of the picture fairly quick.

Gore is tanking the market now just as Clinton tanked the market in April by hacking apart Microsoft. Sure, protect the little guys from bad old Microsoft. When Microsoft's stock price took ill, all the competitors' stock valuations were RIP. We face economic slowdown, reduced tax revenues with no surplus, and a possible real tanking of the market.

I suppose I could sit and cheer it all on as I'm in metals enough that I could gain on it, but not when it wipes everyone else out. We are one major event away from real financial chaos and we've made enough enemies around the world to have at least one of them help set it off.

Enough is enough Gore.
