I know dude...they could have got 30-40% of the DVD market, a better codec and snuffed out a major competitor in the STB market too if they had bought CUBE. My guess is they offered stock and CUBE said "NO THANKS"....since they had such a bad deal with the HLIT spin.

CUBE would have cost them 1.5-2B IMO, but still you've got something then(revenue, earnings, visibility), rather this VT deal with nothing but a dream.

I'm wondering...was BRCM management behind this medical marijuana deal and were they sampling or what?

Texas Instruments, based in Dallas, said it will supply 3 million of the 10 million units expected to ship this year. This is a sevenfold increases in its market share from 1999, the company said. ..."

Hello Mr. Henry Nicholas, how are your margins holding up on the cable modem chip biz?? How come you failed to mention this little fact in your "pump up the volume spin" on CNBC today? Losing 30% of one of your main product lines...tisk, tisk, a sad sad example you are setting my friend.

Hello longs..are you listening to me now..??
I told you competition, dilution, lost contracts...my FUD is now FACTS!!
