"One thing to remember is that the old and cheap, outdated machinery is usually found in areas with populations that are of lower income,
minorities, seniors on fixed incomes," Gore said.

The man who will say ANYTHING....

Palm Beach is one of the RICHEST COUNTIES in the nation...

And Michael Barrone stated it very clearly... The Democrats don't really want Miami-Dade counted, because they have already recounted the primarily democratic precincts and they only netted 157 votes.

The rest of the precincts voted 53% for Bush and there is no reason to believe that a hand recount would gain Gore anymore votes.

The guy lost... and now it's just a matter of finding a way for him to lose gracefully.

This guy is going to cost the democratic party dearly...

Regards,

Ron

Actually, Palm Beach County is #3 in Florida in per capita income, at $40,044 per person, 47% above the Statewide average. Broward County is #11, and Miami-Dade is #21. (All based on 1998 statistics.) How did Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton get such an audience in a wealthy area?
