Regardless the market is discounting a hard landing. You are right, who listens anyhow. I also do not care if people lost based on their own decisions. The market is eying deflation/profits recession and Greenspan is eying inflation risk. That is the main point and job of the Fed. I have never invested more than 50% in stocks and never try to give advice on timing. I am an investor not a psychologist. I got plenty of heated messages last spring when I said the NASDAQ would break the lows in the Fall. Go back to the 1929-1930 Dow chart and measure for yourself. I see 70% decline which is a hard landing meaning the Fed missed the targets, period. PERIOD.
