Cross-currents...As losses continue and as they mount, more participants will exit the arena, leaving stocks in what is commonly known as "stronger hands." However, the common wisdom applies to the short term, not the long term. Those who remain in equities, or buy back into them at lower prices, may indeed find out that they represent the "weaker hands," still believing that prices can come back.
