Petulant Paul,

I posted what I was told at Best Buy. They also stopped taking orders for the P4 at their web site, which lends some credence to what the salesperson told me. I also gave a reference to the story that it was only a bios issue - which was (supposedly) fixed before any systems shipped.

Did you ask anyone at Comp USA if the systems they were selling had a newer bios than the first ones shipped? Or is Comp USA not interested in such things?
