One thing... The price of DDR memory is somewhat fuzzy, seeing as you cannot basically buy it. ;)

Basic costs of P1.5(assuming no glitches) vs. Athy 1.2 of $325 vs. $210...a 55% difference...Tough obstacle to overcome in a short while as AMD knows all too well having 'til one year ago operated under the shadow of PIII...For years INTC has had the luxury of the PIII premium processor with premium pricing...All that has changed as now the Athy is the premium performance processor and costs less than the best the competition has to offer...Looks like we're entering a new market phase whereby PIII and much hyped P4 may have to operate under the shadow of the Athy!!!
