Cummings: What's going on with that newspaper strike up in Seattle? I guess strikebreakers and corporate lackeys are putting out both papers, that right? I read on the AP where the mayor of Seattle says he ain't gonna talk to any pseudo-reporters who cross the picket lines and want a big story from him. Have you noticed a diminution in quality of the papers there? Or are they just filling up space with AP stuff? Hey, it's a chance for some reporters to make lemonade out of lemons, right? Similar strike in Detroit a few years ago gave union member Mitch Albom time to write "Tuesdays With Morrie."

If you want to stay informed of what's going on in the country and world, just ask me and I'll tell you the scoop is.
