But you would agree, Neocon, that we can glean a rather very good comparative by pitting the undervotes of optical scanners next to undervotes of Votomatic machines, wouldn't you? Doing this, in fact, would provide a fairer representation as to how many actually preferred not to vote in the presidential election. Brace yourself, as this is about to come out in court testimony. It'll be as absurd as the GOPwinger pundits spouting about recount after recount after recount when, in reality, there was: a) the election; b) state-mandated machine recount; c) Bush requested machine recount; and, d) the still not yet fulfilled Gore request for a hand recount. The pundits seem to blame Gore for all the recounts. The reality is he's asked for only one recount in four counties which have voting machine problems. The comparative of the optical scanner undervotes with the Votomatic undervotes will help to clarify, for Joe and Sally Public, the GOPwinger distortion we've witnessed these past couple of weeks.
