I disagree on your abortion viewpoint. Taking an innocent life is a moral issue.

Regarding other freedoms....why do the Democrat want to disarm the USA population? There can be only one answer...in order for government to have absolute power over its populace.

"do not equate it with a governmental issue that is tearing away the moral fiber of the country and one that will lead to a Hitler or Stalin in the Whitehouse."

How dare you compare Bush to Hitler or Stalin!

With all due respect for a large subset of the population, whether you like it or not abortion is not a moral issue.

I imagine that.....then read this:

In a Russian police sting it seems an eight year old boy's uncle and grandmother tried to sell him for ninety thousand dollars. And to make the story even more gruesome, the boy was being sold for his ORGANS and BODY PARTS....................the fact that the boy was alive made very little difference....

think that is a moral issue? After all the perp. just told police he needed a new house and a new car....

RE: whether you like it or not abortion is not a moral issue

I strongly disagree. Abortion is a moral issue that has affected the core of our society and its values. SInce Roe v. Wade, "Science" has asserted that newborn babies, because they can not experience pleasure, have no more right to life than a baby mouse (Stephen Pinker). "Science" has also asserted that there is no evidence that pedophilia inflicts long-term harm on children, and there is a movement to legalize "consensual adult-child" sex (as if an 8 year old could consent to sex with a 40 year old man). GenX has seen 1/3 of its population exterminated. They have been told that we are nothing but electro-chemical reactions to external stimuli of which we have no control. They have been brainwashed into believing that nothing maters and they are not responsible for their actions. Is Columbine really surprising. I assert that what we are witnessing is a wholesale devaluation of life. It began with a "women's right to choose". Left unchecked, it will end with genocide, which, according to U.S. Court of Appeals Justice Richard Posner (The Problems With Jurisprudence) is a useful tool of evolution. Keep in mind that Posner would likely be a Gore appointee to the Supreme COurt.
