How could he accept what is against FLA law? Bush could have accepted Gore's offer of a statewide recount, or at least accepted his offer to talk. I can't say for sure whether an accomodation could have been made. I think it would have. But the truth is Bush said take this offer of fairness and stuff it where the sun don't shine, because Bush knows he lost the state, and the election, and all he has is the storm troopers and idiots to put him in power.
