That damn Al

. . . . He's to blame for the entire debacle. Thank God for my right to bear arms. I'm going to look for one right now.

I knew back in February when Fidelity started making higher margin maintenance requirements on tech concentrations in my portfolio that the "Houses" were up to no good. I had no idea, though, that what was being set in motion (in conjunction with the Fed raising rates) was a total and complete reevaluation of those hideous P/E ratios for ALL tech stocks. Today's plastering of BRCD confirms that concern for me once and for all. My discussion along that line over the weekend with Bonnie got her to kick it into gear and buy puts on BRCD on Monday. She kicked ass Tuesday.

It's now time to study P/Es and buy puts on those high valuations. I just wish I had money left. But QCOM, ELON, JDSU, and RMBS (in that order) have wasted me. What a farce this year has been.

What troubles me is that Greenspan wanted to take the air out of the "Naz." He did it in such a disorderly fashion. Welcome to the United States. Darwin! Only the most reckless gambler would even bother with the "Naz" anymore. He's returning everyone to his precious "institutions." Treating us all like babies.

I'm sick. I'm tired. Looking for Ellis Island. To exit. Especially if this country is taken over by that moron Bush.

Good night, good luck, and good news (right!) tomorrow,
/john

I hear Al's responsible for the weather as well. What a powerful guy, huh?
