Lots of FUD out there about CIEN just like there was before JDSU's numbers...CIEN PE is more like 80 and close to 50 on a forward looking year basis...very hot growth..yesterday CIEN was hit with the "news" that a customer might have financing problems...well that "news" was old news...was out and fully discussed 2 months ago and CIEN is fully reserved against it...this market on days like yesterday is vulnerable to short seller techniques like repeating old bad news months later to knock a stock down further in a panicking market...all on the thread saw this technique quite active in QCOM this year, especially this summer...it's too be expected. Frankly, I like to be in stocks that have a good short interest in them...built in buying demand.
