pc, it would seem by your choice of words that you are hit hard. if you are like the average tech investor, you are net down - all your gains over the past 8 years have been wiped away and, then some, during the last 7 months. i don't mention this to rub it in as i've had my share of loser stocks - been there, done that. however, i recall vividly you pimping the techs above naz 4000-4500 as a guaranteed investment and barked that everyone who wasn't buying was left out. now you know why i wasn't buying. i'm glad i'm left out of this mess. re: amat. i can see an argument for a single digit pe ratio for a company with declining revenues and eps going forward.
