Chicago Tribune story in our local paper says the following: At other times, surprised colleagues came upon an intensely focused Gore in the House gym, practicing basketball trick shots over and over until he perfected them for competitions with fellow House members. I can just picture it, the big doofus working on trick shots to impress congress, for crying out loud. Tipper hurrying home from Junior League, cooking dinner thinking how hard hubby was fighting for the people. Laughter is good medicine.
