10 lowest radiaton phones in the US are MOT. The reason is that they claim to have patented the clam shell phone and refused to let others use it freely. With that design the antenna is removed from the head and pointing away. The candy bar design focuses the antenna energy on the head,

John,

<< Nokia Oyj ... for the next year or so it must persuade its customers to buy old-technology phones ... the faster mobile phones capable of surfing the Internet won't arrive until the second half of 2001 ... Nokia is prettying up its existing phones with such new features as color screens and watertight casings for canoeists. <<

... and for my next canoe trip, I'd like one of those pink ones with a color screen to view black and white alpha numeric text ...

Little credibility gap in GSMland today ...

It is sorta like DoCoMo stretching out wide scale deployment of WCDMA because it would cut into margins of 'i-mode'.

Gotta be some VERY Frustrated Carriers out their in GSMland.

As for those "brain cookers" I think it is absolutely essential that we have em, and the more radiation the better, cause maybe it'll get rid of some of the wing bats driving (no weaving) up I-95 at 70 MPH with a handset pressed to their ear.

I do 1,000+ business voice minutes per month on mobile and maybe 50 of that has a phone near my ear.

Jabba earpiece/speaker/jawbone microphone when not driving (not sure why anyone would use a mobile without one).

Hands free with a cradle on dash while driving.

Bigger risk of getting nailed by one of those wing bats than nailed by radiation
