Richard, if there were any metals that we should consider "strategic", it would be palladium, platinum, and titanium...

Those metals are even rarer than gold, mined in a few exclusive locations, and increasingly integral to the nation's defense industry.

We have more than enough silver available to meet our industrial needs, especially given the production in Canada. We're certainly not at risk of having our supply cut off due to war.
