KEM is scheduled to go into Mid 400 tomorrow. Over 400 K shares must be bought by index funds. Might give a one day shot in the arm for a point or so.

Al the time, I thought that the "slowdown" was in the stock price.

RE the cash NAV. Doesn't take into account negativee cash flow from expansion and stock buyback. Even at 50% cash to share price, its impressive. I'm surprised there have been no purchases. TYC would be a good acquirer. Accretive to earnings and fits into its electronics businesses.

Fiddling Department:

Re playing the KEM/VSH spread, two days ago I wrote, "I'll look for a 2 1/2 to 3 point widening before I switch back."
I guess I lied. I switched back to KEM with a two point gain. Getting lucky so soon was too hard to resist.

Re the KEM/AVX spread, there's probably money in it when AVX drops a half to 3/4 of a point below KEM. I'll be keeping an eye out for that also.
