"The futures lurched upward the moment the networks announced a Bush win. Markets have been down ever since al began contesting Bush's win."

Gee, if we are to believe as many here wish to believe, that the American opinions poll indicate a Bush win, then why would this even be an issue...let me explain it to you...Wall Street (now these are pretty smart guys) have ALREADY factored in a Bush win, just like the rest of the free world and are not waiting out the 48 court cases to see how this thing plays out...they have placed their bets on a Bush win and in so doing, have either exited positions, or reversed them as shorts...and again, if this is an indication of things to come, I will be long gone and earning my 5-6% in cash and bonds...for me, a Bush win will crater the markets and the carnage has just begun.
