Whatever. But Presidents' policies or lack of them affect the economy and the markets. Very much so.

Would have to agree with RVM here...the President appoints folks like Greenspan and Rubin and sets economic policy on a daily basis...anyone remember what Gore did to biotech that ill fated day?...tell me these guys have no effect.

Uh-Enam, Did you notice the NASDAQ chart from yesterday???

Just prior to Mr. Bore going on TV, rumors were being circulated that he was going to call it quits. The NASDAQ momentum turned upward. The minute that he opened his mouth and made it clear that he was not, the market turned and plummeted.
