Some appoint neutral judges, others do not. Our system depends a lot on the integrity of those who do the appointing. Unfortunately, that is a point which does not cut much swag with the Clinton/Goristas.

I think MOST judges are neutral. I saw an interesting segment on who has picked the various USSC justices, and although I don't remember who picked who, there were some notable conservatives picked by the dems, and vice-versa.

I do not believe however that the FLSC is neutral. It is a shame imo. The three democratic judges that I have seen quite a bit of that I think are very fair and objective are:

Judge Charles Burton
Judge Terry Lewis
Judge Jorge LaBarge (sp?) - not positive he is a demo, but i think he is.

Your leader has overturned one of their decisions (Lewis') and is suing the other two in one way or another to benefit their cause. Does that not seem odd to you?

This story gets more and more interesting. I didn't before realize the GOPwinger operative was enabled complete and unobserved access to the County's prime voter databanks and files, including the files of the county's chief election technical officer.

I submit the Seminole County absentee ballot matter is more serious than most realize, this especially in light of the what happened during the '97 Miami mayoral race where courts had to intevene to toss out illegally tampered absentee ballots. Again, this is the real reason why the military absentee ballots underwent so much scrutiny, not because of anything Gore's folks did as GOPwinger pundits have alleged.
