In the body of this article is to me a clear and compelling reason to be positive on SGI's future. In particular the third paragraph below. The biggest life cost of computer systems use is the user folks who customise the particular application that make the system be productive. This is a valuable mindshare turf.

When content is created in Maya, Pulse Exporter will export geometry, texture maps and animation including rigid-body animation and vertex blended deformations. Take a look at SGI's chart, if that isn't the nicest base I'll buy you a chocolate phosphate! At these prices (under $4.00) we are continuing to accumulate this gemmy gem, this issue is at bargain basement levels. This is the time to buy
